Christmas Blessings

We celebrated Christmas at our house this year. Grandma and Grandpa came over early to help open presents and then Tia, Byriah and Loretta came for dinner. I am so very grateful for all of the endless blessings or family has received and continues to receive from God.

Ready, Set, Open!!!

Ready for Santa

How could Santa resist these sweet faces?

Cookies for Santa...

Adrian was ready to put out Santa's cookies before it even got dark on Christmas Eve and was ready for bed at 8:00. We filled Santa's special plate with cookies and Santa's special cup with milk and waited in anticipation for his arrival!

Lucky Number Seven!

Our little man is seven. We celebrated his birthday at one of his favorite places, "Pump It Up". So many friends came to share in the celebration and share his special Indiana Jones birthday cake. I still can't believe that he is seven, it has gone by so very fast. Adrian is growing into an amzaing person. He is smart and funny and inquisitive and loving and thoughtful and an amazing big brother to Roman. We are so proud of Adrian for so many reasons.

The Polar Express!

We took a ride on the Polar Express the day after Thanksgiving. Eduardo, Mom and I took the boys on the magical ride. We got to drink hot chocolate, received a perfect sleigh bell from Santa and even had our tickets punched by the conductor. Roman has been punching random pieces of paper he likes to call "tickets" since weeks before the trip and he is still at it. He loves his choo choo train ticket and bell.

Halloween!
Finally, Halloween got here. Adrian had his Indiana Jones costume since the 1st week of September...he even attempted to swing from the ceiling fan with his whip a few times! Ultimatly, Roman decided to follow big brother's lead and be Indiana Jones as well. It was a great Halloween.

I love the fall and all that goes with it. Fall decorations, fall smells, trips to the pumpkin patch, the anticiaption of Halloween, crisp weather, long sleeve t-shirts and jeans on my boys and my man.

1st Grade Here We Are!

Roman took big brother to school yesterday to make sure he got a good seat. I asked Adrian what his most favorite part of the day was and he told me "no homework".

Sixty Years Young

Mom turned 60 yesterday. I remember when 60 was old, I just don't think that anymore. I hope to be half the person my mother is at 60...kind, thoughtful, considerate, accepting, filled with faith in God and always there for her family. Happy Birthday Mom.

Summer Fun

Summer came and went so fast. This was our first official summer since Adrian started school. When I look back and think of the summer I think of ... Roman turning 3, swim lessons, Dora Live, the Aquarium, Indiana Jones legos, NASA, a first loose tooth and brothers hangin out. Roman is such a little chatter box now, just like his big brother. Nothing compares to the sound of the two of them having their own conversation when they don't know I am listening. Adrian is starting the 1st grade tomorrow and Roman has recently moved up a class in his pre school. Every day I see growth and change in my boys and I am reminded of just how sweet life can be.
Welcome to NASA!
Roman stepping on the moon.
Adrian daring to do what Indiana Jones does.
Papi can do anything that Indiana Jones can do!
"Indiana Jones legos are so awesome" says Adrian.
Checking things out on our train ride.
Our very own Diego at Dora Live.
Hula hoopin at the Aquarium Downtown.

So cool and learning how to swim too.

30 Years of Friendship! True friends are such treasures. I am so glad that we have been able to pass our friendship onto our five little boys.
